You do have to add a couple wires from the gear indicator to the PCM. Either down on the switch or from behind the instrument cluster so that the 0411 knows what gear it's in. The 411 is a way faster pcm, its been used in many gm cars and trucks. Hp tuners even has an autotune option to fine tune ve's on the go.
