My daughter will be ungrounded tomorrow for what she failed to do last Saturday. Her peers voted her as the Homecoming Queen, and she received the crown at the Homecoming Dance last Saturday night. At her high school, the winners of Homecoming Court are notified several days in advance. I told her congratulations, but my husband and I told her ... She tried to get my cousin's daughter to say her name when she was 5 months old (Paula isn't her real name; her actual name is longer and harder to pronounce). And every single picture Paula ever took with the baby was turned into an Instagram post, most times without my cousin's approval. It's been a long time, and a lot of things have happened.
