We have a 2018 Ford Escort that never had weird alarm issues until the dealer got around to installing the Ford remote start kit. After that we have alarms going off randomly as we leave the vehicle. Was fine before the remote start kit was installed. The car was purchased off the lot.The E-brake pedal switches and the pedals themselves on these trucks seem to have a higher failure rate than normal.
