New User. Mar 20, 2017. #1. I have a John Deere 4020 Diesel that developed a miss. The first step to cure miss was to remove the pencil injectors and have them tested. All cracked/popped adequately, however, 2 of the injectors test pattern was not real good if pressure was added slowly so I replaced them. This did not cure the miss.Feb 14, 2021. #1. Directly behind the oil pressure gauge is a small hole in the governor housing. Oil will go through that hole and run down a trough to the oil tube. Remove the oil pressure gauge and take a small stiff piece of wire and you can unclog the hole. I had the same issue with a 37 A. It takes some. patience but it can be done. OP.Nov 12, 2008. #1. When this tractor was evening used daily we never had any trouble with the steering. Now that it only gets used very little we have steering trouble.
