Hexes. Your patron and familiar teach you special spells called hexes. A hex is a short-term effect drawn directly from your patron's magic. As such, you can cast only one hex each turn; attempts to cast a second hex spell on that turn fail and the spellcasting actions are lost. Hexes are a type of focus spell. Avoid weapon proficiency if your campaign goes beyond level 10. Incredible initiative is good until your party scout gets master in perception. Otherwise toughness if you find yourself in melee when you shouldn't be. Skill feats make sure someone in the party hits the medic feats. This guide is intended as a quick mapping of 5th edition Race and PF2e Ancestry as well as 5th Edition Class and PF2e Class Archetype for new players. Please note that these comparisons are simply one interpretation and are meant as a jumping off point for interested players to continue research on their own.
