November 17, 2023. BREMERTON, Wash. – Members of the Washington State Patrol (WSP) Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team were assisting allied law enforcement agencies with an incident in the 3400 block of Forester Drive in Bremerton on Friday morning. During the incident, WSP SWAT personnel became involved in an officer-involved shooting.The man accused of fatally shooting another driver during a road rage incident pled not guilty on Tuesday. According to Washington State Patrol, the driver passed away Tuesday night. WSP responded to the road rage shooting Monday afternoon. It shut down a portion of State Route 16 at the Sedgewick Exit.
