It COULD be a battery. 9/10 times it is. But there are 30 different parameters that can cause the auto stop start system to go unavailable. Could be anything from batteries to a wiring issue to the intelligent battery sensor and others. If you decide to replace the batteries on your own buy a good quality AGM battery.
