Ford 3000 draft control adjustment
I think it is a Ford 3000 built in Antwerp Belgium in 1970. My IT manual is a FO-31. The manual says the pressure relief valve is underneath the tractor in the bottom of the hydraulic unit. Does not appear to be there. The valve in the O ring area is the safety valve that screws into the top of the lift cylinder.Changing the hydraulic main spring /or Draft control spring plate. If you hit a patch of heavier soil the compression force in the top link will increase slightly. If it has a draft control 3ph, it may be in draft control mode. It'd be better if somebody who has one describes the operation.In the draft control mode, the lift is either "up" or "down". There is no control in between, which is what you are observing. You will want to use position control mode, unless you are plowing.
