Nest Thermostat working fine but app reporting "E74: No power to Rh wire"? Troubleshooting. *FIXED* A simple restart did the trick! (Hold down on the thermostat for 10 seconds) It has been like this for weeks which leads me to believe the power at the thermostat is fine if it is still working at the physical thermostat. The Nest's battery was dead, so I removed it and charged with USB. The wires are all connected correctly in the base unit, but a voltage tester is showing no power. The equipment screen is showing no power to "Rh" and code e74.I just bought a Nest Learning Thermostat from Costco today to replace my Honeywell T40, which was working fine. After installing the Nest, I'm seeing E74 errors, not sure what the problem is. This is a newly built house, so not an age related failure. Do you have any ideas? Before Install.
