If the plow lifts and drops without resistance then you need to look for problems with the S1 valve. This is the only valve involved in dropping the blade. The S1 is the closest valve cartraige to the front of the plow. In v mode with the plows up they were all around 5,600lbs of front end weight. They handle it great IMO. Diesel trucks with plows that are too heavy for them, and spreaders loaded too heavy for them too.

I was told that its because the extra weight of the Diesel, but they can look it up in a F350 Cab/Chassis. I know they're on other trucks out there.Ford/Boss Lighting Issue. Good Morning. A jumper wire running from incoming line to outgoing load to plow on the solenoid will make plow run and controller will operate. The solenoid was replaced with another OEM one. Plow works on other trucks fine. Controller also works fine swapping to another truck. The wire harness came with the truck purchase.Boss plow light problems!
